RAM Talks Art: Rockford Art Museum's Evergreen Ball Dec. 6

By Sarah Bursley McNamara, Community Relations Coordinator, Rockford Art Museum

Friends of Rockford Art Museum (RAM) presents “Evergreen Ball XX: Artrageous” Saturday, Dec. 6, in the RAM galleries. Van Gogh Sponsor is Alpine Bank.

With co-chairmen Cheryl Bischoff and Terri Odell, this year's Evergreen features dinner by Chef Al of Giovanni's; entertainment by the Georgia Francis Orchestra; and a silent auction, wine auction and live auction.

Auction items include a jersey signed by international soccer star David Beckham and a guitar signed by rock legend Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick. Nielsen used the guitar during the RAM “Divergent Minds” performance at the Coronado this past summer.

Two items are featured in an eBay auction: an autographed nitro piston clock by NHRA racing champ Gary Scelzi, and an official NASCAR racing wheel signed by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Tony Stewart.

Also new this year are After Dinner tickets, $100 each (begins at 9 p.m.). Regular tickets are $200, $250 or $500 each; corporate tables of 10 are $3,000. All proceeds benefit Rockford Art Museum. To purchase tickets, call RAM at (815) 968-2787.
