We are excited to announce the launch of RAM's Ramp It Up Poster Contest in conjunction with Full Deck: A Short History of Skate Art traveling exhibition at RAM May 6-August 14, 2011. Feel free to explore themes of subculture, music, technology, extreme sports, alternative lifestyle or anything else that inspires you.

Accepted entries will be on display during the Ramp It Up Warehouse Party, April 1, 7-11 pm at Pirate Ninja Print Shop in Rockford. Posters will also be on display at the RAM Art Annex May 6-August 14, 2011. Winning finalists will be selected by popular vote of
Warehouse Party attendees.

Poster Size
Entry should be 11 inches wide by 17 inches tall. Poster artwork must be 2-D. Posters may be prints of digital artwork and can employ any graphic media. Design should be graphically attractive and use a dynamic message. Artists may submit one poster per theme.

RAM reserves the right to reject any entry deemed inappropriate. Entries will become property of RAM and no entries will be returned. RAM may reproduce and distribute artwork.

The back of each entry must include the artist's name, phone number and email.

The contest is open to all interested,
including artists, art students and designers, 18 years or older.

Entry Fees
Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry. Entrants can pay by check or cash. Make checks payable to ROCKFORD ART MUSEUM. Fees are nonrefundable and must be sent with entries. Entry to the poster contest includes FREE admission to RAM's Ramp It Up Warehouse Party, April 1, at Pirate Ninja Print Shop, 400 E. State St., Rockford.
