START | January - December 2010
Senior Time for Art (START) is an art appreciation and activity program offered to senior citizens in retirement homes and long-term care facilities. RAM's Education staff works with experienced art instructors to develop monthly lessons for each of the sites we serve. Lessons engage seniors in creative projects offering recreational and emotional outlets, physical and intellectual stimulation, socialization opportunities and a sense of accomplishment. This program offers seniors, a population frequently overlooked, a chance to continue lifelong learning in art.
