Permanent Collection Selections | January - December 2010
Rockford Art Museum collects and maintains over 1,500 objects in its Permanent Collection. In order to provide public access to this collection, more than 10 individual exhibitions showcasing the museum's five focus areas are organized each year in Anderson Gallery. Educational tours, school groups and visitors are exposed to rotating displays of Contemporary Glass Art, Outsider Art, an extensive photography collection, and historical and contemporary works of art featuring artists of national prominence, as well as local favorites.
