Rockford Art Museum Donation Drive kicks off on #GivingTuesday, Nov. 27

This holiday season Rockford Art Museum kicks off its Donation Drive starting on #GivingTuesday, November 27. Your donations will provide supplies for weekly educational programming and museum activities, and will assist us in providing classes to schools that do not usually have access to these programs. Now through the end of December supplies can be donated at the Nordlof Center, RPL’s Hart Interim Library, Rockford Roasting Company, Wired Cafe, Katie’s Cup, Prairie Street Brewing Company and Rockford Art Museum.


Requested Items: Kneaded Erasers, Glue Sticks, Xacto Knife Blades, Round Plastic Palettes, Student Grade Oil Paint, Large Scissors, Strathmore 400 Series Drawing Paper Pads (11×14 and 18×24), General’s Sketchmate Drawing Sets, Conte Crayon Portrait and Sketching Color Sets, White and Gray Charcoal Paper (Any Size), Student Grade Gouache Paint, Vinyl Erasers, Sketchbooks (4” x 6”), Plastic Palette Knives, Soft and Medium Body Acrylic Paint, Air Dry Clay in White, Gesso, Large Drawing Clip Boards (over 20”), Artbin Solutions Medium Box, Blank Canvas Tote Bags, Rolls of Unprimed Cotton Canvas (10-12 oz), Barens, Speedball Speedy Carve Blocks (Various Sizes), Screen Print Squeegees (over 8”), Easel Weavers or Small Lap Looms, and Drop Spindles.
