At Creation Station, children and adults can try their hand at stepping into a painting such as Rudolf Ingerle’s Salt of the Earth.

When visiting Rockford Art Museum galleries, stop by for a visit to Creation Station.

Children as well as adults can find creative ways to learn about the world of art through interactive games and activities located in Rockford Art Museum’s education area.

Read a book with a child about an artist, or enjoy the timeless illustrations found in the Book Nook. Use your imagination by role-playing the part of one of the figures in Rudolf Ingerle’s painting, Salt of the Earth.

Creation Station is on view in Anderson Gallery and is sponsored by Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Smith Charitable Foundation.
