Children can start learning how to express themselves with paint using only their hands. Finger painting is an easy introduction to creativity. Families are welcome.
Let’s get messy and see if we can get everyone in the family to express themselves with paint. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Vera Klement’s iconic images have an impressive impact. Tour the Paint Into Icon exhibition and then head to RAM’s Art Annex to create your own iconic painting by creating symbols that represent you! In this class, kids will get an opportunity to paint themselves into icon!

My Own Series
Ages 12 and up
Instructor: Allison Muraski
Date: 12/13/08
Time: 2-4p
Students will tour Paint Into Icon to see how Vera Klement uses diptychs as a mainstay of her work. After the tour, in RAM’s Art Annex, students will begin working on canvas boards with acrylics to create their own representative diptychs, using symbolism and color as their forms of expression.
