Letter from the Executive Director

Greetings and welcome to Spring!

RAM has the good fortune to have a very engaged Board of Trustees who are a vital part of our success. This year we have a few changes in our board that we would like to share with you.

Lisa Lindman has been our Board President for the past three years. Her strong leadership, direction and numerous accomplishments have truly driven the Board of Trustees and the staff to achieve higher standards and goals for our museum. She has been an inspiration to all of us during her term as president and will continue on not only as Past President, but as chairman of both the Patrons’ Circle and Exhibition Committees. A heartfelt thanks to Lisa for all she has done for RAM.

In February, Patrick O’Keefe was elected President of the Board of Trustees. On behalf of the board and the staff, we look forward to working with Patrick. His previous board experiences and community involvement will augment his leadership at RAM. Please join us in welcoming Patrick O’Keefe.
We are pleased that Scott Sullivan has agreed to serve as a new trustee, and would also like to welcome Woman’s Art Board President, Nancy von Lugossy, and Visual Interest President, Lisa Jimenez.

In 1991 Dick Behr recognized the need for a larger base of support to ensure the museum’s stability, and over the years Dick and his wife, Lon, have chaired the Patrons’ Circle. This level of membership has played a major part in supporting the operations of RAM for more than 16 years. There are not enough words to express our sincere thanks for all the dedication and support they have given not only RAM, but the members of the Patrons’ Circle. We salute both of you for all your accomplishments. They have passed the baton to Lisa Lindman, and Dick will continue to be a member of the Board of Trustees.

In moving forward, the Patrons now have a new level of membership for members 50 years or younger- Junior Patrons! For more information please see our Support Group page under Patrons.

We are pleased to say that our membership is increasing and encourage you to invite other art enthusiasts, friends and family to join. Let’s grow RAM together!
