Women's Art Board

Established in 1963, Women's Art Board provides its members with educational speakers in the visual arts, and raises funds for Rockford Art Museum's educational programs.

Each Spring, WAB hold ArtTalks, a 3-part lecture series open to the public. 2008 series included lectures by Robert mcCauley, Roland Poska and Cherri Rittenhouse.

The popular Women's Art Board luncheon is held each fall, and features well-known Chicago book dramatist Barbara Rinella. This year's luncheon will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at Giovanni's. Tickets are $40, to make reservations, or for more information, call 815.968.2787.
